What is MNRI®?
Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration
The Masgutova Method (MNRI®) is a comprehensive set of programs that focus on the restoration and maturation of primary motor reflex patterns. It facilitates proper coordination between the sensory and motor systems. It supports the optimal performance of protective, automatic brain, and body responses.
MNRI® is based on the stimulation of motor reflex patterns in order to awaken natural, genetic motor resources, motor memory, and sensory-motor coherence. Reflex pattern integration exercises are designed to create order in reflex circuits so that specific sensory stimulation yields a specific and appropriate motor response. Proper integration of motor reflex patterns is essential and provides a stable foundation for the development and maturation of higher motor and cognitive functions. In other words…
When our bodies experience neurological, emotional, or physical trauma, it compromises the connections between our brain and our body. MNRI® uses safe, calm, and easily reproducible exercises to integrate the connections between the brain and the body to develop higher-level motor, cognitive and emotional skills in all ages.
